The seats will be offered to students fulfilling the below mentioned criteria listed in order of priority. Educational Qualifications: Candidates who have passed the 12th class examination (10+2 pattern) with minimum qualifying marks from any recognized Central/State Board of Examination are eligible. Selection Criteria: First priority will be given to those students who have cleared “UCEED” entrance exam conducted by IIT Bombay. Second priority will be given to those students who have secured a rank in a National Level “Design” Entrance Examination (or an entrance exam in allied Design fields), for a Four Year Course of any Central (“Government of India”) funded Institute/University. Third priority will be given to those students who have secured a rank in a State Level “Design” Entrance Examination (or an entrance exam in allied Design fields), for a Four Year Course of any State Government funded Institute/University. Note: Only General/Open/All India ranks of the entrance examinations will be considered. Category ranks will not be considered. In case of Institutes that conduct a preliminary entrance examination followed by a final examination, the scores of preliminary exam will only be considered. If two or more applicants have the same rank (for any of the categories above) , then the candidate with higher marks in Class XII exam (best four subjects - Language plus three) will be considered. If there is a tie in the Class XII marks as well, the candidate older in age will be ranked higher. In case of any unavoidable ambiguity in the "above seat allocation procedure" during "seat allotment", the decision will be taken by the competent authority of NSUT and shall be binding on all.
